This policy explains how Premiere Production Group Ltd. (“Premiere”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through premierepicturecars.com, our vehicle request and listing forms, our digital rental documents and our vehicle inspection app. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Ontario law.
1. Who we are and who to contact
Premiere Picture Cars is operated by Premiere Production Group Ltd., 1220 Corporate Dr., Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Our Privacy Officer can be reached at eric@premierepg.ca.
2. What we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email, phone number, company, production name and your role.
- Vehicle requests: dates, shoot location, vehicle needs, intended use, and any reference images you upload.
- Vehicle listings: owner name and contact details, city, vehicle details, mileage, condition, modifications and photos.
- Rental documents: quotes, agreements and invoices, including names, signatures, billing details and any identification details requested in those documents.
- Inspection app: vehicle photos, inspection notes, the name of the person completing the inspection, and the date and time of each inspection.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookie information (see our Cookie Notice).
- Messages: anything you send us through forms, email or other channels.
3. Why we use it
- To respond to requests and provide quotes.
- To review and manage vehicle listings.
- To arrange, document and invoice rentals.
- To record vehicle condition at check-in and check-out.
- To create and manage accounts.
- To keep our site and systems secure, and to improve them.
- To send you information about our services, where you have agreed to receive it.
- To meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
4. Your consent
By submitting a form, creating an account or using our services, you agree to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits, by emailing our Privacy Officer. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some services. We send marketing emails only with your consent, and every one includes an unsubscribe option.
5. How vehicle information is shown
Vehicle listings show photos and details of the vehicle. Your personal contact details are used to communicate with you and are not displayed on a public listing unless you tell us otherwise. Pricing is not published on the site and is provided by quote.
6. Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email, forms, analytics, document and e-signature software, and payment processing.
- Productions and vehicle owners, only the limited details needed to arrange a rental.
- Insurers, advisors and claims handlers, where needed for a claim, a damage matter or professional advice.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Where it is stored
Your information is stored with our hosting and software providers, some of which may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country may be subject to that country’s laws, including access by its courts and authorities.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax, insurance and record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
9. How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and secure connections. No system is completely secure, so please take care with the information you send us.
10. Your rights and choices
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email eric@premierepg.ca and we will respond within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
11. If you live in Quebec
If you live in Quebec, you may also have the right to ask us to stop sharing your information, to have it de-indexed, and to receive it in a commonly used format. Contact our Privacy Officer to make a request.
12. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
13. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
